I want the Calendar on a Cell (by click or rightClick) and in a userForm available also. Somewhere I found that Access must be installed, but Access IS installed (office 2010 Pro).

64-bit Office 2010 does not provide 64-bit versions of the Common Controls. Alt+f11 - ToolBox - RightClick - Additional Controls - I cant see any Calendar or MonthView Control.

An alternative must be found for existing Microsoft Office VBA solutions that utilize these controls when the code is migrated to 64-bit Office 2010. This includes the common controls of MSComCtl (TabStrip, Toolbar, StatusBar, ProgressBar, TreeView, ListViews, ImageList, Slider, ImageComboBox) and the controls of MSComCt2 (Animation, UpDown, MonthView, DateTimePicker, FlatScrollBar). These controls were installed by previous versions of Microsoft Office and are installed by 32-bit Office 2010.

I am using Excel 2013, with Visual Basic for Applications 7.1 and Windows 7 64 bit. However that thread was for office 2010 beta and of course i am running final released version.įound this:Native 64-bit processes in Office 2010 cannot load 32-bit binaries. hey guys - I am trying to add a calendar to my excel template but I am missing the MonthView Control from the list of available controls. I am sorry to take up your valuable time. I would really appreciate your input and ideas on this. The Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP6) is selected in the more controls box to insert the drop-down calendar. The drop-down calendar is inserted with the help of ActiveX Controls in the Controls group of the Developer tab. I guess I can't find any MSCOMCTL.OCX objects, as per this link: The Microsoft date picker does not work on the 64-bit version of Excel. Even when I manually select to open this control, then in the toolbox I try to add "Microsoft ProgressBar" but I cannot find it.

But I promise you:Īre present and one is registered! This is crazy. The progress bar belongs to the Common Controls, right? Well, despite them being checked (referred to as Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0 (SP6)") the progress bar simply doesn't exist!Ĭould it be that my Excel has any security feature enabled? Or something else? I am trying to think really out of the box, here. Moreover, I cannot find any reference to "Microsoft ProgressBar" control at all, in my system!

I cannot find a progress bar to add, in the tool box. I tried the "fix it" tool but resulted to nothing. We have compiled a list of the most popular and feature-rich solutions in this category.
